The Junior Academy at Guildford is second to none. Junior lessons are available for non-members and members. These individual junior lessons are a great way to develop their skills and love of the game. Our friendly, learning environment allows children of all ages to attend and enjoy golf within a well supervised and safe surrounding.
No prior golfing experience needed and we can provide suitable equipment for new golfers to use in their first lessons. If they decide golf is for them we can advise you on the right equipment to help develop their game. No need to wear golf clothing but lessons are outside so suitable footwear and clothing.

Guildford Golf Club is a perfect venue to teach and develop young golfers in a fun and positive environment. Beginner golfers are encouraged to discover the basic concepts and techniques of the game.
Most importantly the emphasis is on fun and making sure the children enjoy themselves.
The more advanced individuals are provided with more challenging skills and guidance offering individual, small group classes and on course playing lessons. Guildford Golf Club warmly welcomes all young people into their Junior Section. The Club supports plenty of opportunities to play in friendly or competitive formats. Throughout the year our juniors participate in monthly stroke play or stableford events, weekly roll-ups and “Major” junior club competitions including the club championships and knockout competitions.
